Oki, so I tore myself up attempting to put together my newest deviation, and I think it went rather well. It took me about 3 hours to get it done, though most of that was spent doing and redoing the hair. I am super proud of that hair by the way. Yeah, I know proportions are a bit off, working on that. Mouth needs work, and I want to do noses differently I think. I put too much effort into the eyes; I think I need to try a simpler approach for the time being, and work my way up to the more extravagent eyes, such as what I tried to do with this. ANYWAY. Off to the main point of this.

I was scared to post my little piece of fail, I will admit. Very much so. I can get up on stage in front of a large group of people and play bass (and at one point sing), a lot of those people I know personally, but I am afraid to post one piece of artwork into a community where I know very few people on a personal level. Seriously? Whatever. I'm self-conscious about it.

And, of course, me being self-conscious and an attention whore, I immediately noticed that past the magical 4 minute mark of someone happening to see it on newest devs, I had heard nothing. Between here and the other place I posted this, I have had 0 replies, save for a couple in an IRC from the other place. Now, I am not getting all upset about this, because, well, it's only been up a bit over 12 hours, and I don't expect the world to come flying off the handle to see my blasphemous attempts at artwork. But I just wanted to post my thoughts. Especially cuz I haven't said anything today.
